Each winery has its own identity, they work independently, but with the same philosophy of life: offer wines with character, expression of terroir and a “non-interventionist” production to allow the variety to offer its maximum expression.
Our goal is to streamline our clients’ export process and offer the world the extraordinary diversity of Spanish wine regions.

Laura Hoyos
Founder & Director of LHWINES FAMILY ESTATES
Laura Hoyos stands out for her ability to combine technical knowledge, sensitivity to the authenticity of native grape varieties, and a clear international orientation. She is the founder and director of LHWINES Family Estates, a company specialized in the export management of family-owned wineries with estate vineyards, all committed to producing wines with identity and origin.
Academic Background and Technical Expertise
Laura holds a Law degree from the University of Valladolid, a foundation that has equipped her with analytical thinking, legal structure, and key negotiation skills essential for thriving in global markets.
Her passion for wine led her to pivot her career path, complementing her education with specialized training including:
- Export Management Program – Valladolid Chamber of Commerce
- Master’s in Oenology, Viticulture, and Wine Marketing (Torras & Asociados)
- Master’s in Winery Management – Valladolid Chamber of Commerce
- WSET Level 3 Award in Wines (Pass with Merit)
- Sommelier Specialization Course Level 2 – International Culinary School of Valladolid

Beyond credentials, what truly defines Laura is her tireless passion for wines with soul—wines that tell a story and embody a sense of place. She strongly believes in the value of the family vineyard as a driver of authenticity and differentiation in international markets. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with vine growers and winemakers to champion native varieties and recover traditional styles with a modern approach.
